We want to thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Game Hacking Village. We are currently preparing for DEFCON34 and are excited about this year's activities! They will include an online gaming platform capture-the-flag, speaker presentations and a chill-out lounge with retro-gaming.
***As of now, we are in special need of volunteers who are graphic artists (commissions are possible), game developers, cybersecurity-oriented developers that could assist in creating challenges for our CTF platform.
What Volunteers Do During DefCon
- Village Setup — Help set up the space before the con opens
- Registration / Check-In — Greet attendees and manage badges
- Talk Coordination — Assist speakers, manage A/V, keep sessions on schedule
- CTF Support — Help participants with the CTF platform
- General Operations — Keep the village running smoothly throughout the event

Requirements
- Must be able to attend DEF CON 34 (August 6–9, 2026) in Las Vegas
- Commit to at least 1 full shift (typically 4 hours) !!! SHOULD IT BE ONE SHIFT PER DAY?
- Must be 18+
